It may come as a surprise to many that the market for 3D bio-printers is not small. Regardless of the method used, the powerful biological 3D printing process involves depositing material layer by layer. The mini organs were made using patient-specific materials but did not show any function. However, just months after the breakthrough by Israeli researchers, US biotech company BioLife4D announced its own powerful biological 3D printing3D bioprinted heart that is larger and replicates some of the functions found in the human heart.
